Grant Opportunities
Grant funds will be awarded to projects that serve
pregnant women and children from birth to five and their families, that are
residents of Tuolumne County, California.
Projects must promote healthy early childhood
development by addressing family strength, early
childhood care and education, and /or health status of pregnant women, infants and young children
from birth to
age five.
Community Grants:
Community Grant applications are now available for FY 10-11. $20,000 has been
set aside for this grant cycle. Download below or call 209 586-2337 to
request an application. It is strongly advised that applicants read the
guidelines prior to completing an application.

Emergency Repayable Grant Program:
The Commission has authorized an emergency repayable grant program
for organizations at risk of suspending operations due to the delay in State of
California fund disbursement (resulting from a delay in the state budget
adoption)
Providing Information to the Commission on Emerging Issues:
Community members should feel free to address the
Commission at their regular monthly meetings about issues that are emerging as
unmet needs for families with young children in the community. These
presentations should not take the form of funding requests, and will not be
considered as funding requests. The purpose is to provide information to
the Commission that will assist them in their ongoing granting decisions as well
as their long-term planning.
