Emergency Repayable Grant Program for FY 08-09
The Commission has established an
Emergency Repayable Grant Program
for FY 08-09. This program shall be implemented only on an as-needed
basis, for agencies that serve the First 5 target audience and that have
experienced a delay in fund disbursal form the State of California, due to the
delay in approval of the California budget.
Providing Information to the Commission on Emerging Issues:
Community members should feel free to address the
Commission at their regular monthly meetings about issues that are emerging as
unmet needs for families with young children in the community. These
presentations should not take the form of funding requests, and will not be
considered as funding requests. The purpose is to provide information to
the Commission that will assist them in their ongoing granting decisions as well
as their long-term planning.
