Local Screening and Fluoride Varnish Programs -- Smile Keepers

The Smile Keepers Programs visits local preschools and kindergarten classes (and also grades 1-12) twice a year in Tuolumne County to provide oral health screening and preventative treatment such as fluoride varnish for young children. The program also teaches children how to brush their teeth and provides other basic oral health care information. If decay is discovered, parents are informed and are assisted in finding a dentist, if needed. The Smile Keeper Program staff can be reached at: 209 536-2014.
